There’s a moment when everything else disappears.

You stop thinking about where you need to be, what happened yesterday, or what comes next. You’re just there. Dropping into a line, paddling into a wave, running through the trees, diving into cold water.

That feeling is why we started SMBL.

We make technical apparel for the places and pursuits that bring us back to the present. Not for one sport or one type of person. For movement, exposure, and the moments when you feel completely alive.

We started with mountain biking because that’s where we were spending our time. The Flywheel Short. The Glide Shirt. Simple pieces built to move, disappear when you’re wearing them, and take a beating.

But the ride was never the whole idea.

We surf. We ski. We run trails. We swim in cold water. We sit around fires and stay outside longer than we probably should. The activity changes. The reason doesn’t.

We believe the best things in life have a way of pulling you completely into them.

So we make fewer things, make them better, and build them for more of those moments.

SMBL stands for Simple Moments, Breathe Life.
