All measurements are garment measurements laid flat. Chest and waist are measured across, not around. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
We don't design everything to fit the same. We design each piece to fit its purpose. Every silhouette is intentionally built for how it's meant to move, layer, and live.
Standard Utility
Balanced. Clean. Everyday layering. Neither slim nor oversized — sits naturally on the body with room to move.
Tailored Athletic
Close to the body. Built to move. Minimal excess. Designed for performance without restriction.
Relaxed Layering
Designed to go over base layers. Room through chest and shoulder. Comfortable without being shapeless.

Chest
Relax your arms at your sides. Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across your back.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above the navel. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
Hip
Stand relaxed with feet shoulder-width apart. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Sleeve Length
With your elbow bent, measure from the center back of your neck, across your shoulder, down to your elbow, and then to your wrist.
Front Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, at the base of the neck, straight down to where you want the hem to fall.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the bottom of the hem. For shorts, this is the finished length of the inner leg.
All product measurements on SMBL are garment measurements laid flat — not body measurements. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Questions? We'll size you right or we pay the return.
