Chest

Relax your arms at your sides. Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across your back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above the navel. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

Hip

Stand relaxed with feet shoulder-width apart. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Sleeve Length

With your elbow bent, measure from the center back of your neck, across your shoulder, down to your elbow, and then to your wrist.

Front Length

Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, at the base of the neck, straight down to where you want the hem to fall.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the bottom of the hem. For shorts, this is the finished length of the inner leg.

Why We Made This

We designed the Hikari to meet the moment—the ones where the day begins, shifts, or winds down. On foggy trails. After the surf. Before the coffee. It’s built for those coastal hours that ask for something warm but never bulky. We wanted a flannel that was elevated, intentional, and made from the best materials we could get our hands on. Insulated, subtly technical, and tailored without being fussy, Hikari is the layer we couldn’t find—so we made it ourselves.

The flannel is woven by heritage mills known for precise yarn-dyeing and durable twill structure, while the liner is crafted by Toray®, Japan’s leader in technical performance fabrics. Together they embody monozukuri—the Japanese devotion to making things with care, purpose, and excellence that lasts a lifetime.

So stoked on this flannel

Didn’t expect to be this impressed by a flannel but here we are. The lining alone makes it feel like a totally different category than a normal flannel, so much softer and warmer than I thought it’d be. Pockets are actually functional too, not just there for looks. You can tell right away this thing has some real weight to it, feels substantial in a way that tells you it’s gonna hold up. And the finish is insanely clean, little details that make it obvious this wasn’t rushed. Genuinely one of my favorite pieces I own now.

Best flannel

This is easily the best flannel I’ve ever owned. I wear it all the time I’ve had some gnarly crashes on my dirt bike and it’s saved all the skin on my arm and the jacket still looks brand new . No rips, no tears, nothing. It’s honestly basically indestructible. It’s comfortable, fits good, and holds up way better than any other flannel I’ve had. Definitely worth it.

Best daily flannel out there!

I wear this flannel everywhere from class to the ski hill and it has proven to be awesome. Heavyweight so you never get cold but perfectly fitting so you do not loose any mobility 10/10 recommend.
