We designed the Hikari to meet the moment—the ones where the day begins, shifts, or winds down. On foggy trails. After the surf. Before the coffee. It’s built for those coastal hours that ask for something warm but never bulky. We wanted a flannel that was elevated, intentional, and made from the best materials we could get our hands on. Insulated, subtly technical, and tailored without being fussy, Hikari is the layer we couldn’t find—so we made it ourselves.
Every Hikari begins in Japan, where generations of textile mastery meet modern innovation. The flannel is woven by heritage mills known for precise yarn-dyeing and durable twill structure, while the liner is crafted by Toray®, Japan’s leader in technical performance fabrics. Together they embody monozukuri—the Japanese devotion to making things with care, purpose, and excellence that lasts a lifetime.
